Culture, education exhibitions at JCC

JAKARTA (JP): A five-day national culture exhibition will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center in Central Jakarta starting tomorrow.

PT Wahyu Promocitra, the organizer of the exhibition, said in a statement yesterday that the expo was aimed mainly at improving the younger generation's appreciation of the country's diverse cultures.

There will be a variety of displays, ranging from cultural arts and heritage, photographic illustrations of cultural art to visualizations of tourist attractions.

This exhibition will coincide with the seventh exhibition on education, training and technology to be held by the same organizer at the convention center.

PT Wahyu Promocitra said that besides the local participants, countries involved in the education exhibition included Australia, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, Germany, Belgium and France.

There will be representatives of universities, colleges, language schools, vocational training institutions, education and training consultants and laboratory equipment at the exhibition. (hhr)
