<p>Crisis sends money orders down</p><p> YOGYAKARTA: One indicator of the inroads made by the crisis
may be the number of money orders being processed by the post
office.</p><p>Head of the Yogyakarta Post Office Yayat Sudrajat said here
yesterday the amount processed in the first six months of the
year dropped by 17 percent over the same period last year.</p><p>Yayat said Rp 21.6 billion was processed through the post
office from January through June, compared to Rp 26.1 billion in
the first six months of 1997.</p><p>He said the number of money orders processed by the post
office here was relatively high because Yogyakarta is a
university town and many parents use the money order service to
