Credit rating workshop
JAKARTA (JP): The ASEAN Forum of Credit Rating Agencies will hold a workshop in Yogyakarta to discuss rating standardization and harmonization.
The president of PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia, Farid, said credit rating agencies from Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines and Indonesia would take part in the two-day workshop which starts Thursday.
"The conference aims to find ways to harmonize within ASEAN," he said.
Farid said officials would present case studies on the rating of electricity and telecommunications companies in each ASEAN country. (aly)
