Cotton mission in town
JAKARTA (JP): A delegation from the Australian Cotton Shippers Association (ACSA) is visiting Indonesia to initiate an international market development program aimed at highlighting its growing bilateral cotton trade with Indonesia.
The Australian embassy said on Monday that the visit to Jakarta and Bandung was in recognition of the country's importance as the largest destination for Australian cotton exports.
Indonesia imported more than A$523 million worth of Australian cotton in the 1998-1999 financial year.(hen)
