Cookies, candies anyone?

BUSAN, South Korea: Journalists have long complained to the Busan Asian Games Organizing Committee (BAGOC) over the computer and internet-related facilities available at the Main Press Center, but to no avail.

There has been no addition in the number of computers or internet-enabled phone booths. But the organizing committee has something sweeter to offer for journalists covering the Busan 2002 Asian Games.

As of Wednesday, the organizing committee distributed packs of biscuits, candies and cookies to journalists, in addition to bottled water which has already been distributed freely even before the 14th Asiad officially opened.--JP
