Concert, dances organized

JAKARTA: A three-day cultural event called Youth Culture Show
will take place at Gedung Kesenian Jakarta on Jl. Pasar Baru,
Central Jakarta, beginning on Thursday, in observance of Youth
Pledge Day.

On the first day, prominent teenage jazz singer Andien is
among the artists who will perform in a concert titled Bung Hatta
Indonesian Youth, which is brought to stage by Trisakti Alumni
Lacuissa Choir. The show will also feature singer Neno Warisman
and pianist Ary Sutedja.

On Friday, Devi Indri, a graduate from Jakarta Institute of
the Arts will stage a traditional Minang dance from West Sumatra
titled Hitungan Hidup (Life's Count). While Retno Maruti's Roro
Mendut, will be performed by Padnecwara dance group.
