College student steals to pay fees

JAKARTA: A student at a private university in Jakarta has been arrested for stealing on a number of occasions from a neighbor's house in Pulo Gebang Permai, Cakung, East Jakarta.

Arnold Tisoalu, 26, stole two cellular phones, a wrist watch and a camera, all of which he sold. He claimed that he had used the proceeds to pay for his university fees.

The student stole the items on Saturday and Sunday. He was arrested late on Sunday evening.

Arnold is now being held by the Cakung Police in East Jakarta. -- Tempointeraktif.com
