Coca-Cola worker gets award
JAKARTA (JP): Muhamad Soleh, a Coca-Cola Bottler worker in Jakarta, has been declared one of Jakarta's model workers of 1995.
Governor Surjadi Soedirdja made the announcement at City Hall yesterday.
Soleh, who has worked for PT Djaja Beverages Bottling Company since 1972, has also been chosen as a model worker in Central Jakarta.
The trophy was handed over by Central Jakarta Mayor Abdul Kahfi on Aug. 17, Indonesia's independence day.
M. Soleh, born on May 16, 1950, in Tasikmalaya, West Java, said he enjoys the good relationship between the workers and the company management.
PT Djaja Beverages Bottling Company is one of the 11 Coca-Cola producers in the country with a total of 6,500 workers. (32)
