Coca Cola campaigns for clean water

JAKARTA: PT Coca-Cola Indonesia, in cooperation with the Indonesian Medical Association and Visi Anak Bangsa non- governmental organization, has completed a campaign on the use of clean water among elementary students.

The campaign, titled Airku, Airmu, dan Air Kita (My Water, Your Water and Our Water), was officially closed Saturday through various programs at Bellarminus Elementary School in Menteng, Central Jakarta.

Before that, the campaign, which included pantomime and story telling, was also conducted in other elementary schools, including the following: Kramat Pela, Triguna in Kebayoran, Al Azhar Kemang -- all in South Jakarta -- Santo Yakobus in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Al Azhar Cikarang and Thariq Bin Ziyaad Islamic elementary school in Bekasi.

Coca Cola said in a statement that the campaign was aimed at educating students on the need for consuming clean water. -- JP
