'CNN' to cover local art festival

PADANG, West Sumatra: The international television network CNN will cover the Pariaman local culture festival, Tabuik, which will be held from May 19 to May 30, Antara reported yesterday.

Deputy Mayor of Pariaman Marthias Mahyudin said that the festival is expected to draw an even greater number of visitors than last year, which attracted 500,000 tourists, he said. (01)
