Oh no! What has the U.S. government done to Indonesia's troubles during the economic crisis? Sending Mondale as Clinton's top emissary is a new old-fashioned interference of the White House in Third World countries.

Some day we really should know what Clinton's confidential message was for our President. And whether it touched on our sovereignty.

Do not ever draw an analogy of Mondale's mission with that of President Reagan's envoy Philip Habib to Marcos before the advent of People's Power.
