Cleaning workers plunge to death

JAKARTA (JP): Two cleaning service workers were killed
Saturday when they fell about 30 meters from the Bank Niaga
building in South Jakarta.

Arif, 24, and Cucun, 20, were cleaning the windows of the
building on Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said in Kuningan, Antara reported
Sunday.

A witness said the accident occurred when the rope of the
workers' gondola gave way.

The victims were taken to the nearest hospital.

Major Nyoman Suryasta, the public relations officer for City
Police Headquarters, said the local police of the Setiabudi area
were investigating the accident. (02)
