Clamp on mobile mania

LONDON: The mobile phone backlash has started in Britain.

The British government is planning to launch a media campaign to inform drivers of the hazards of using mobile phones while on the move.

And hand-held phones are not the only ones that will be targeted.

The government will also be blitzing drivers who use hands- free phones.

There have been several deaths in Britain caused by drivers using mobile phones.
