Civilian security personnel

In the current increasingly heated situation, it is suspected that the Armed Forces (ABRI) created a situation in society where one side fights against the other. Correct?

Why did ABRI deploy (armed) civilian security personnel to safeguard the Special Session of the People's Consultative Assembly? Then, those civilian guards proudly go about the city as if they were showing force: "We are the reliable security guards".

Why didn't ABRI make itself the sole force totally responsible for the safety of the Assembly's session? Moreover, these civilian guards, calling themselves representatives of Banten residents and Islam, had a physical confrontation at the Proclamation Monument, where they held prayers for the late KH Hasan Basri. Why there, and not in the late KH Hasan Basri's home, or at the Istiqlal Grand Mosque? Please don't overact!

That some of the civilian guards were armed with pointed bamboo poles and arrows and samurai swords is ridiculous, as if they were going to fight in the forest.

Why did they want a confrontation with the other members of society? We may have different views but we should respect each other's opinions and seek a compromise, not a confrontation.

Before the situation goes from bad to worse, it would be wise for the authorities to disengage the civilian guards from their security task. The Jakarta regional police said that civilian security personnel were not under their command. So, it is advisable for the government to conduct a thorough investigation on who has initiated the deployment of the civilian security personnel.

Let us maintain our unity and integrity for the sake of the our nation and country.
