City police to be reshuffled

JAKARTA (JP): City police spokesman Lt. Col. Zainuri Lubis hinted on Wednesday a planned reshuffle at the Jakarta Police headquarters, involving four significant police officers.

"The decree for the reshuffle has already been issued, signed by National Police chief Gen. Rusdihardjo," Zainuri Lubis told reporters.

City Police chief of operational control Col. D.A. Soenarko, will be replaced by Col. Nono Suprijono, who is currently the South Jakarta Police chief.

Soenarko himself will become Madiun Police precinct chief of East Java.

The post of the South Jakarta Police chief will be filled by Lt. Col. Edward Aritonang, currently the Tanjung Priok Port (KP3) Police chief.

The incoming KP3 Police chief, will be Lt. Col. Sistersin Mamadoa, who is currently a staffer of the planning division at city police. (ylt)
