City holds busway writing, photo contest

JAKARTA: The TransJakarta Busway Management was holding a
writing and photo competition for students, journalists and the
general public. The theme of the competition is, "Creating a new
culture of using public transportation."

Anyone interested in participating in the writing competition
can submit articles to TransJakarta's office at Jl. Trunojoyo No.
1, Blok V, third floor, South Jakarta. Submissions must be
received no later than June 20.

Those interested in taking part in the photo competition can
join a "photo hunt" organized by TransJakarta on June 25.

Winners will receive between Rp 1.5 million and Rp 3 million.

Entries will be judged by Jakarta Transportation Council
chairman Sutanto Soehodho, Kompas daily chief editor Suryopratomo
and the coordinator of Galeri Antara photo gallery, Oscar
Motuloh. --JP
