City cooperates with 'TPI'

JAKARTA (JP): Television station TPI will cooperate with the municipality by screening a variety of programs about developments in the city.

The agreement, signed yesterday by Governor Surjadi Soedirdja and TV station representatives Tito Sulistio and Ishadi SK, aims to encourage the public to participate in development activities.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Surjadi said the television media was one of the most strategic means of disseminating information about the city's achievements.

New information will be broadcast to the public as soon as possible and it is readily available to everyone, especially Jakartans, who has a TV set. (hhr)
