Citigroup offers internships

JAKARTA: The Sampoerna Foundation (SF) has signed a memorandum
of understanding (MOU) with Citigroup Indonesia to give the
foundation's scholarship students internship opportunities at
Citigroup.

"The experience gained during internship is significant in
ensuring the university graduates land themselves permanent
jobs," SF director of programs and alumni affairs Eddy F. Henry
said in a statement received by The Jakarta Post on Monday.

He said that SF scholars in their final semester were eligible
for internships at Citigroup Indonesia, which would hopefully
increase their workplace competitiveness.

"After their internships they will have expertise in a high
standard banking institution, which they can utilize for their
future careers," Citigroup Indonesia's country human resources
officer Ishak Kurniawan said. --JP
