Citibank, LippoBank tie up

JAKARTA (JP): Citibank and LippoBank signed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding aimed at delivering a stronger customer credit card service for customers of both banks.

Under the deal, Citibank credit cardholders who have an account at LippoBank are able to pay their Citibank credit card bills through Lippo ATMs.

Lippobank operates 400 ATMs and has 2.7 million customers.

"Through this cooperation, we hope that our customers can enjoy one more easy way to pay their Citibank credit card bills.

"LippoBank ATMs add to a total payment channel of more than 3,000 ATMs which now accept Citibank credit card payments," Paul Asveen, card business director-global customer bank of Citibank NA, said in a statement.

Citibank has 1.2 million credit cardholders in Indonesia.

"This cooperation is part of LippoBank's commitment to continue enhancing the services we offer to our customers," Ian B Clyne president Director of LippoBank said.(11)
