Ciputra builds new town
JAKARTA (JP): A 600-hectare town located 20 minutes from the Cibubur toll gate in the direction of Jonggol, will be officiated in August, complete with mini-zoo and camping grounds.
A botanical garden is also planned for the town named CitraIndah Kota Nuansa Alam in the Bogor regency. The project is being built by PT Kharismakusuma Pujalestari of the Ciputra Group.
Harun Hajadi, the group's director, said 110 homes and plots have been sold so far since the project was marketed in June.
Harun claimed yesterday that the 25,000 homes will be based on the 1:3:6 ratio ruled by the government, meaning that for every luxury home developers must build three medium-scale homes and six low-cost homes.
The homes of the latter group are priced from Rp 38 million, Harun said.
He said the Rp 600 billion project will not include weekend retreats but houses "for those who will really live there" as the site is 40 minutes from the Semanggi clover bridge.
"The site is also in line with plans of the regency to develop Jonggol as a new area," Harun said. (anr)
