Cibinong Police arrest car thief

BOGOR (JP): Cibinong police arrested a car thief suspect and
confiscated two vans from his home in a village in Cibinong on
Sunday, police said on Tuesday.

Abdul Rohim, a suspected leader of a car thief syndicate, had
allegedly been involved in several car theft cases in Bogor,
according to Cibinong Police chief First Insp. Fridon.

Police were now searching for Abdul's colleagues, identified
as Pendi alias Cimot and Nan.

Fridon said the police arrested Abdul following reports from
car theft victims Manoto Erland and Bambang Rachmad Bachtiar.

He said Cibinong Police would also track down a group of
people who had allegedly worked with Abdul in marketing the cars.
