Christmas tree contest at Sogo

JAKARTA (JP): Sogo Department Store will hold a Christmas tree decorating competition on Nov. 18 for the public with the theme, Christmas Tree East and West.

There will be three categories in the contest: feminine, masculine and children nuances.

The trees can be decorated in classic, traditional, elegant or contemporary style.

Participants can enter free of charge, but they have to supply their own trees and ornaments. And each participant should give their work a title.

A maximum of 50 people can enter the contest.

Those who wish to enter should take their registration forms to the store's information counter on the 1st floor between Oct. 15 and Nov. 15.

The winners, who will be announced on Dec. 10, will receive prizes valued from Rp 5 million to Rp 10 million. (ste)
