Children love to draw frogs

BOGOR: At least 100 kindergarten and elementary school students in Bogor eagerly participated in a frog-drawing competition held on Monday.

The winner for the coloring category for kindergarten students was four-year-old Jeani Kosasih from Regina Pacis kindergarten.

Stella Octaviani, a third year student of Kesatuan elementary school won the prize for best drawing among first year until third year students, while Tasya Octavianti, a fifth year student of Amalia school in Ciawi won the category for the fourth year until final year students.

The event was held by the Bogor Institute of Agriculture at the Conservation Hall in Bogor Botanical Garden in a bid to introduce the children to amphibians and their contribution to the environment. -- JP
