Central Bank

Correction: In the article titled New opportunity exists for the central bank published in The Jakarta Post on Feb. 19, there was a mistake in the editing. The 10th paragraph should read, "Here lies the policy dilemma. Although the 1999 Central Bank Law did NOT contain any reference to economic growth as a target for the central bank, getting away from this politically sensitive issue is not easy."
