Car troubles

We will soon have a national car, after almost 25 years as merely a car assembler. I am glad to know I will not have to pay three times the original value for the domestically assembled cars.

I don't understand why the Japanese are complaining about the national car policy after being given 25 years to a produce an Indonesian car. If they were really honest in doing business with us they should have produced national cars long ago, but the fact is they are reluctant to transfer the technology.

When India and Malaysia produced their national cars, the Japanese were not annoyed because the cars are really Japanese, not Korean.

A car is no longer a luxury, but a real need. Indonesians are forced to pay high prices for the cars they need to get to work. I hope that the national cars are of good quality. I don't want a cheap car of low quality.
