Markus Naslund and Todd Bertuzzi each had a goal and two assists as the Vancouver Canucks beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-2 Monday.
Vancouver remained unbeaten on the road this season, while Colorado stayed winless at home.
The Canucks' Dan Cloutier had 24 saves. Colorado's David Aebischer, subbing for Patrick Roy, out with an injured hip, stopped 17.
In Uniondale, New York, Chris Drury's goal 96 seconds into the third period helped Calgary beat the New York Islanders.
The Flames picked up points for their sixth game in succession. The Islanders lost their fifth straight and sixth in seven games.
The Flames took a 2-0 lead on goals by Craig Conroy and Mattias Johansson - who scored his first NHL goal when his wraparound attempt went in off goalie Garth Snow's stick at 2:37 of the second period.
Roman Hamrlik and Alexei Yashin scored to tie it before the second intermission, but Drury's fifth goal of the season gave the Flames the lead for good.
Jamie McLennan stopped 26 shots for his first win of the season.
In Los Angeles, Marian Gaborik scored three goals and Cliff Ronning had a goal and two assists as Minnesota beat Los Angeles for its sixth victory in eight games.
Gaborik, who recorded his third career hat trick, had a power- play goal, a short-handed score and an empty-netter to increase his season total to 10. Pascal Dupuis had three assists and Dwayne Roloson had 24 saves.
Jaroslav Modry and rookie Alexander Frolov scored for the Kings. Modry's goal was his fourth, matching the defenseman's entire total over 80 games last season. Frolov's was his fourth, and third in two games.
Minnesota, 0-for-13 on the power play in its previous two games, scored the first time it had the man advantage against the league's third-most efficient penalty-killing unit.
