Canadian Lotto

I was surprised to find an advertisement for Canadian Lotto in The WorldPaper section of Sunday Post, May 12.

How can this kind of advertisement be published in our country when we have just scrapped the notorious SDSB state lottery due to its obvious harmful and destructive effects to our society?

If SDSB, whose profits went to our government for social purposes, cannot be accepted here, what about this Canadian lottery, in which the gains go to another country for purposes unknown?

In addition, we hope that the Post will be more cautious when dealing with this particular media, especially when it touches on sensitive issues such as the Arab-Israeli problem. The Post, of course, has to bear the responsibility of the content of this paper since its publication is under their license.
