JAKARTA (JP): Software company Computer Associates Indonesia
(CA) introduced on Thursday its newest security software to
protect Internet businesses from hackers.
"eTrust and Jasmine ii provide security for e-business
applications and ensures a seamless and intelligent integration
of e-business systems between an organization, its customers,
partners, and suppliers," CA Indonesia consultant director
Rachmat Kosasih said in a seminar on e-business solutions for
banking and finance at Le Meridien Hotel.
eTrust safeguards resources for e-business, from the browser
to the mainframe. The software includes functions like risk
assessment, attack detection, and loss prevention, CA said in a
statement.
Jasmine ii is an infrastructure that includes an integrated
development and deployment environment to create a class of
business applications that provides the intelligence to position
organizations for the future.
The New York-based company provides software ranging from
enterprise management, database and application development,
Internet/intranet, finance, manufacturing, and human resources.
Established in 1988, it has offices in 43 countries and is
listed on the New York Stock Exchange. (10)
