C. Java qualifies 9 athletes for PON

SEMARANG (JP): Nine of 16 pencak silat athletes from Central
Java qualified for the 15th National Games (PON) next year in
Surabaya.

They qualified after competing in a prequalifying tournament
in Jakarta. Central Java finished second in the tournament with
six golds, two silvers and one bronze.

The nine athletes are Haris Nugroho, Roni Saifullah, Florinsia
Ina, Ariyani Saloka, Kasiatun, Imam Wibisono, Yulisa, Sigit
Infantara and Indrianawati. (har)
