C. Java only sends one shooter

SEMARANG (JP): The Indonesian Target Shooting and Hunting Association (Perbakin) has invited Shilla Prasasti from Central Java to join the training program for the 2001 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

"The only Central Java shooter who is invited to the training program is Shilla Prasasti, a specialist in the air rifle match event. Perbakin had earlier invited two of our shooters, the other one being Desak Putu," said the head of the Central Java chapter of Perbakin, Dwi Tjahjanto, on Tuesday.

Dwi expressed optimism that Shilla could join the SEA Games team for Kuala Lumpur next year.

"I'm optimistic that Shilla still has a big opportunity to participate in the team because she is quite young," he said, adding that Shilla is studying and practicing in a club in Yogyakarta.

"She's phyically and technically prepared and she can maintain her condition," he said. (har)
