C. Java judokas want golds in PON

SEMARANG (JP): Central Java judo coach Amin Pambudi is
optimistic his judokas will win two golds in the 15th National
Games (PON) in Surabaya, East Java, in June, despite their poor
physical test results.

Amin said on Wednesday that he was drilling his judokas to
improve their physical performance. He added the athletes were
not discouraged although their opponents in West Java and host
East Java hired foreign coaches.

He said judokas from both provinces, plus judokas from
Jakarta, Yogyakarta and North Sumatra, would be a tough match for
his athletes. "We will fight Jakarta and West Java judokas in
joint training in Bogor, West Java, from March to April."(har)
