C. Jakarta to check apartment tenants

JAKARTA: The Central Jakarta population and civil registration
agency plans to check on the residency status of tenants at
several apartments in the area.

Agency official Rosyik Muhammad told the city's official news
portal Beritajakarta.com that his team would focus on foreigners
live in the Executive Menteng and Senayan apartments.

"We have information that most of the tenants at the
apartments are foreigners who do not have valid identity cards or
other legal documents," he said.

He added that the operation would take place within the next
two weeks. -- JP
