Business center in Lippo Karawaci

JAKARTA (JP): A large shopping center in Pinangsia, Tangerang, projected to become a main business center in the town and its vicinity, is being built in the Lippo Karawaci business complex.

Located on a 8.5 hectare plot of land, 288 ruko (house/shops) are nearing completion and are scheduled to be officially opened in November this year.

Due to its strategic location -- amid development projects on the Jakarta-Merak toll road -- the Pinangsia business center is easily accessible. It is also located in a flood-free area.

"The existence of the Pinangsia business center is being hailed by developers constructing various housing complexes in the area because they will no longer have to go to Glodok or Jatinegara to buy building materials and equipment," Jusuf Valent, the chief operating officer of PT Lippo Karawaci, said.
