Business as usual at Mandarin

JAKARTA: It was business as usual at the Mandarin Oriental
Jakarta after thick black smoke enveloped the third-floor kitchen
on Thursday.

"All operations at the hotel were back to normal within less
than three hours after the incident," hotel general manager
George Benney said on Friday.

He underlined that Mandarin Oriental, which is located on Jl.
MH Thamrin, was fully operational, in business-as-usual mode.--JP
