Bus tickets sold out

PEKANBARU, Riau: The Idul Fitri festivities are still three weeks away, but bus tickets to and from Pekanbaru city -- for trips between five days and one day before Idul Fitri day -- have already been sold out. Some residents in Pekanbaru city complained that they had been left in limbo after finding that no more bus tickets for the Pekanbaru-Medan route, for example, were to be had.

A ticket agent said that all the tickets had been sold out a few weeks ago. -- JP
