Bus crash kills one

BANDUNG: A 30-year-old salesman was crushed to death and at least a dozen more injured when a minibus lost control and rolled over in Cililin district, Bandung regency on Monday morning, police said.

Police said the casualty, Dede Djamaludin, was standing inside the crammed bus when the bus skidded to the left.

Police said at least three people were seriously injured and a dozen more people were admitted to hospital with various injuries.

Witnesses said the accident happened when struck a rock after the bus driver was unable to negotiate a sharp corner. The rock kept the bus from falling onto the Saguling dam, the witnesses added. (25)
