MIAMI (AP): Burger King Holdings Inc., the world's No. 2 burgerchain, said Thursday said it will begin opening restaurants inIndonesia in June.
Burger King said its subsidiary, BK AsiaPac Pte Ltd. gavedevelopment rights for Indonesia to PT Sari Burger Indonesia,which is principally owned by PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tk.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The first restaurant will open in Jakarta.
Burger King operates more than 11,100 restaurants in the U.S.and 65 countries and U.S. territories. (**)
