Bukaka wins new projects

JAKARTA (JP): PT Bukaka Teknik Utama announced yesterday that it has secured new projects worth Rp 141 billion (US$59 million) over the past two months.

The company said in a statement that its energy division has a contract worth Rp 50 billion for the construction of the Ungaran- Klaten transmission tower in Central Java and Rp 30 billion for a power project in Sumatra.

In telecommunications, Bukaka and its partner Marubeni of Japan have won a contract to build a "spurlink" project in Sumatra worth Rp 11 billion.

In the same period, its plant system division has obtained several contracts valued at Rp 35 billion.

Meanwhile, its transportation and aerospace division has gained Rp 7 billion in new contracts for ten catering trucks and airport passenger boarding bridges.

The company also said that it has secured an order for 175 oil pumping units worth Rp 8 billion. (alo)
