Three athletes injured in explosion: Three women volleyball
players suffered serious injuries to their hands and legs when a
homemade bomb exploded prior to a volleyball match at the
Singalodra indoor stadium in Indramayu regency, West Java, on
Sunday.

Eyewitnesses said the explosive device was thrown on the court
by a spectator and exploded at about 2:35 p.m., prior to the
match for the West Java Sports Week.

The three athletes were taken to the Indramayu General
Hospital, about 500 meters from the stadium. -- JP
