Broken golf club replaced

About three months ago, I purchased a new golf club from the Golf House located in the Pasaraya/Seibu complex. Recently, the head of the club broke off during a routine swing. I stopped by the store to see what recourse might be available. The staff at the Golf House was very helpful and said that while it would be difficult for them to replace the club, they could help me get it repaired. I simply needed to bring the original receipt with the broken club to the store.

When I returned with the club and a copy of my credit card receipt (the original store receipt was no where to be found), I was informed that Golf House would indeed be able to provide me with a replacement club. While they had hoped I had the original store receipt, the credit card slip would be sufficient. Within 15 minutes I was on my way home with a brand new club and in a mild state of shock.

This standard of service-orientation is to be commended. I have lived in Indonesia for nine years and I cannot recall a higher level of business ethics and customer service at the retail level.
