British mission to arrive

JAKARTA (JP): A British trade delegation from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry will begin a week-long visit to Indonesia on Monday as part of efforts to boost trade ties between the two countries, the British Embassy said on Friday.

The embassy said six companies from the agribusiness, aviation, manufacturing and merchandising sectors would explore new opportunities for expansion with Indonesian partners during the visit.

"The delegation will also meet representatives of trade and economic bodies including the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as government officials," it said.

The delegation will be led by Bernadette Hartigan as the mission manager, it said. (03)
