British Council holds film festival
JAKARTA: The Kit-Kat British Film Festival, which was opened here last weekend, will run until April 24, featuring 10 critically-acclaimed British movies.
The films are Sexy Beast, Claim, Low Down, Strictly Sinatra, Purely Belter, Born Romantic, Bread and Roses, Last Resort, The Parole Officer, and Wonderland.
The festival is organized by the British Council in Jakarta.
The films are shown at the Usmar Ismail Film Center (PPHUI), Pondok Indah Mall 21, and at the Plaza Senayan 21.
They would also be screened in Bandung (West Java) and Surabaya (East Java).
As part of the British Film Festival 2002, the British Council will hold a workshop on Screenplay Based on Adaptation on April 15-19 at the British Council. -- Antara
