BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: The British, twin-engine aircraft which crash-landed due to engine failure Sunday is expected to continue its journey to Sydney as soon as the engine is repaired.

Pilot of the Vickers-Vimby airplane, Lang Kitby, said that a technician is bringing a new engine from Australia to replace the damaged one, Antara reported yesterday. The pilot was forced to make an emergency landing here on his Singapore-Jakarta leg re- enactment of the 1919, maiden flight from Britain to Australia.

He said that the technician would need one week to fix the engine.(sim)
