Bridge and distribution of cards

I confess that I am just learning the rudiments of Bridge. I have been following the Bridge Column of The Jakarta Post whenever it appears.

I found the distribution of the cards and the bidding very interesting and started reading the column on April 2.

There appears to be something amiss with your analysis. It was written that "grandslam West broke the rules by leading with the 10 of Diamonds,..." West does not have the 10 of Diamonds. East had it.

Normally, the order of the suits was Spade, Heart, Diamond and Clubs. In this case the order is different. South opened the No Trump bid with 4 No trumps and the bid is 7 No trumps. So North is the Dummy.

You wrote that "She won in the hand...throwing three clubs and two hearts from the dummy." North has two clubs including King and so North must throw King of Clubs. Since the deal and bidding are very interesting I would appreciate a clarification.

Note: You are right. The cards distribution was mistakenly mixed up. The correct cards distribution is on the sports page. We apologize for the error.
