BPN, where are my documents?

I am still waiting for the National Land Agency (BPN) to
respond to my application for a land title two years ago. This
has caused me some concern.

BPN notified some landowners in Depok, West Java, that their
land could be certified, which made us very happy. However, not
all the applications could be realized and we were advised to
retrieve our documents.

When we visited BPN to collect our documents, the person who
was in charge of them, Edy Budiyanto, had been relocated to
Mataram, Lombok. It is unlikely that he would have taken my
documents with him.

I contacted BPN and other related agencies on Nov. 16, 2001.
After waiting for several months, there has still been no answer.

I hope that the head of BPN will be willing to help me in this
matter.
