BPK told to audit ink procurement
JAKARTA: The Indonesian Forum for Budget Transparency (Fitra) called on the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) to audit the procurement of indelible ink used in the recent legislative election amid allegations of overpricing.
Fitra advocacy coordinator Uchok Sky Khadafi said on Wednesday the price of imported and local indelible ink used in the elections was Rp 28,500 per 30 cc bottle, while the price of local indelible ink being used in the July 5 presidential election is Rp 19,975 per 40 cc bottle.
He urged the Corruption Eradication Commission also to investigate the matter. -- JP
