Bombing suspects withdraw lawsuit
JAKARTA: Some 13 bombing suspects withdrew on Thursday their lawsuit against Jakarta Police chief Insp. Gen. Sofjan Jacoeb at the South Jakarta District Court.

They had filed a suit against Sofjan after the he accused them of being connected with terrorists during a press conference some time in September.
The 13 suspects were arrested by the police in Pandeglang, West Java for their alleged involvement in a series of bombings in the city, including Plaza Atrium in Central Jakarta and St. Anna church in East Jakarta last year.

Sofjan's lawyer, Adj.Comr.Barnabas Iman Setiyono, refused to comment on the issue.--JP
