Bomb hoax scatters Manggala Wanabakti

JAKARTA: Tenants of the Manggala Wanabakti office complex in
Central Jakarta hurriedly exited the buildings after a bomb
threat was received at about 11 a.m. on Thursday.

Neither the complex management nor the police revealed how
they message was conveyed, and declared later that no bomb had
been found.

Besides housing a forestry museum, the Manggala Wanabakti
complex consists of a 16-story office building, which is the head
office of the Ministry of Forestry, a 10-story building leased to
private sector forestry firms, and another 14-story building
occupied by state enterprises and foreign firms operating in the
forestry sector. -- Antara
