Body Language just to stay fit

This is with regard to your article on Body language published on Sept. 12, 1999.

I am an ordinary mother of two, looking for a means to exercise and stay fit in today's fast paced world. However, in the article I have been made out to be some kind of sex fiend who has just discovered the joys of sex through "Body Language".

As I recall, this impromptu and informal question and answer took place just as myself and my friend (who was the main person to be "interviewed", and who has not even been given a mention in the article), had just finished our class. The woman asked us our reasons for choosing this mode of exercise to which we both offered our individual opinions. Very indiscreetly she asked if Body Language had changed my sex life to which I had to laugh.

Mr. Roy Tobing who was sitting there offered his explanation about this question and to help him out I said that "maybe it makes us less inhibited". Instead of concentrating on my comments regarding the good that Body Language has dome for me, your journalist has sensationalized the whole article by emphasizing this comment.

I assure Ms. Sadie Mah that my sex life has nothing to do with my wanting to exercise and I do hope that she has not started the class herself (which she has), based on misconceptions and high hopes.

I do hope you realize the embarrassment that the writer's article has caused having my name, age, occupation and origin plastered in the first paragraph of the article even before that of Mr. Roy Tobing who is the actual person being written about.
