Body found in gutted shop

PEKANBARU, Riau: The authorities have found a charred body in
one of the two shop-houses gutted by fire in Senapelan Market
Thursday.

The victim has been identified as 50-year-old Zulkarni, whose
son Hendri died after jumping from the third floor during the
blaze, Antara said.

Another person, 18-year old Upik, is currently in Pekanbaru
general hospital, suffering from concussion sustained after also
jumping from the third floor. (emb)
